Audi announces that its second-generation R8 supercar is the fastest and most powerful car it has ever built. The new generation sports car made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show this past week with a 610-horsepower V10 engine under its hood that is capable of pushing 205 MPH. The automaker disclosed that the new model features an aerodynamic underbody and a low-weight multi-material Audi Space Frame (ASF) made of carbon fiber and aluminum. Its power is delivered to all four wheels via a seven-speed automatic transmission and AWD system that continuously varies the amount of torque that is distributed to each wheel.
