Audi AG has recently revealed that it is developing a device the size of an iPad table that will pack all the computing power needed for a vehicle to drive itself safely along streets and highways without crashing. Delphi Automotive Plc plans to start commercial production of the zFAS controller, using technology from MobileEye NV and nVidia Corp., Audi recently said that the setup offers a single system to interpret data streaming in from a vehicle’s sensors to automate parking and avoid obstacles.
