Audi recently revealed that it has outsold Mercedes-Benz for the second consecutive month this year. With total sales up 4.2% in February, totaling 122,550 vehicles sold, Audi happily bumped its German rival aside in February. Combined January and February sales were up 7.4% with sales totaling 260,250 vehicles delivered on strong demand from China, Germany and the U.S., its top three markets. In fact, Audi sales last month hit a record high for the month which is attributed to the high demand for the new generation A3 compact model line, which rose 47% to 28,850 deliveries. Audi’s February sales rose 4.2 percent to 33,712 in China, its No. 1 market, last month. U.S. sales were up 5.3 percent to 11,445. European sales increased 4.2 percent to 60,250.
