Audi is in the process of developing a rival for the BMW X6 and the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. The Audi SUV will be called the Q8 and it will share more than just design cues from the Q7 SUV. The Q8 will also share the same powertrain as its sister SUV. Audi experts claim that although the new SUV will share the same exact front end of the Q7, the rest of the car will look quite different. The Q8 will feature a sloping roofline and a completely modified window line and an inclined rear window. The future model will be the first production car designed by the new styling boss, Marc Litchte – earlier this year, he promised that the Q8 will be distinguished from the Q7 inside and out.
