Earlier this week and image of the speculated next-generation Audi R8 made it way to the Instagram popular page. User: dreboog, posted a low-resolution image of the popular German sports car, only this time looking meaner and leaner. The leaked image is rumored to be the 2017 Audi R8 and features a more muscular design and the new Audi design language. Sources point out that the headlights are noticeably sharper while the radiator grille is wider, lower and adopts a hexagonal shape. Audi recently revealed that the new R8 will be built on the same platform as the Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 and although technical details were not specified in the Instagram post, Audi execs have previously hinted that the new model will continue to be offered as a V8 and V10 engine options.
