Buyers can get the 2020 Audi A3 with one of two drive configurations: Sport and S line. Sport models are front-wheel drive, while S line features the Audi Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Powering the A3 is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that develops 184 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque on front-wheel-drive models and 228 hp and 258 lb-ft with all-wheel drive. Edmunds tested the A3 Sport and clocked a time of 6.6 seconds to get to 60 mph from off the line. The S line sprinted to 60 mph in a mere 5.4 seconds. The A3 is very fuel-efficient, with EPA-estimated fuel economy of 27 mpg city/36 mpg highway for the Sport and 22 mpg city/30 mpg highway for the S line.*
